"I really appreciated Pat Greenstreet's support during a difficult
time. Because she is a nurse, she was a wonderful advocate for
treatment options while my husband was disabled and before he died.
The whole office was involved with my case as we went to trial.
Their thoroughness and professionalism carried through the trial and
eventual settlement. Their humanity, caring, and support accompanied
me throughout our association."

Our History: A Firm Devoted to Medical NegligencePaul Chemnick and Gene Moen first worked together in 1973 when they were both partners in a larger firm. In 1981, they left to start their own firm, Chemnick and Moen, and decided to limit their practice to personal injury litigation. They opened an office near the historic Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle, where they remained for 20 years. They are now located in North Seattle. Pat Greenstreet joined the firm as a law student in 1982 and became an associate in 1984. She soon became a partner, and the firm has practiced under the name Chemnick Moen Greenstreet since then. Paul is a graduate of George Washington Law School, Gene graduated from Yale Law School, and Pat is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Law. Before attending law school, Pat was a pediatric nurse who practiced at Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center. All three have received awards and recognition as trial attorneys, but Pat has the unique and added distinction of being recognized for her contributions to the nursing profession. She was named "Nurse of the Year" by the King County Nurses Association in 1988 and in 2006 was inducted into the Hall of Fame by the Washington State Nurses Association. As both a nurse and an attorney, Pat takes pride in advancing the cause of patient safety and patient advocacy, especially for women and children. In 2009, two associates joined the firm: Catherine Mee Moen and Tyler Goldberg-Hoss. Catherine is a 2001 graduate of the Seattle University School of Law. Tyler is a 2009 graduate of the University of Washington School of Law. To their clients' advantage, cases are handled within the firm through a team approach. Included as an essential part of the team are two paralegals Debra Collette and Joi Marschal. They understand, as do the attorneys, that in addition to the injury itself, bringing a serious injury or wrongful death claim can be stressful and traumatic for the claimant. They strive to make that burden less difficult for their clients. "The Trusted Voice for Victims of Negligence" © Chemnick Moen Greenstreet |
